Inspiration: different culture – andere Kultur

Inspired by the way of doing things differently than what I’m used to.

Things are done in another way around here.

And the difference lays already in the little things:

people greet each other differently,

there is another way of telling your child, that his or her behavior is inappropriate,

the food tastes different even though you use the same recipe as usual,

different things are in,

the rules of society are different,

most people just eat with the fork (no knife used)

the way of thinking is different,

there is an enthusiasm, that I haven’t noticed like this before, but it is very catching,

you can give a person, that you don’t know a compliment without it being weird,

the products are different…

The different way of doing things inspires me, but it can also challenge me at the same time. I reflect on my way of doing things, my way of thinking, my way to decide something a lot more since we are here. Not in a negative way of questioning myself, but in a way of being open for new and different things.

Dinge werde hier anders gemacht.

  1. Heya are using WordPress for your blog platform? I’m new to the blog world but I’m trying to get started and set up my own. Do you need
any html coding knowledge to make your own blog? Any help would be really appreciated!

    • I read the wordpress guidelines while setting it up and that helped me a lot, since my website know-how isn’t very big. But I managed well with the information they offer and I actually enjoyed reading it, since it is simple and funny…

  2. Great blog! Do you have any helpful hints for aspiring writers?

I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress
or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely confused ..
    Any recommendations? Appreciate it!

    • I read Joy’s book “blog inc. and found it was very helpful:http://www.ohjoy.com/products.html and Pip fromhttp://meetmeatmikes.com offers online blogging courses. I was thinking about taking a class in the near future…I started with a payed version, but haven’t used the potential yet, that does offer. I think if I would start again, I would start with free site and then I would update it, once it is needed. I know that the free ones offer you a lot as well…

  3. Its such as you learn my thoughts! You seem to know a lot about this, like you
wrote the guide in it or something. I believe that
you just could do with a few % to drive the message house a little
bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog.
A great read. I will definitely be back.

  4. Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering
if you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin for
my comment form? I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having problems finding one?
    Thanks a lot!

    • My blog is still a work in progress, I wouldn’t be able to say anything about that yet, but maybe the wordpress guidelines could help you. I really like how they wrote them, very simple and funny…
